USGC King’s Cup National Qualifier™ FAQ
Eight 2-person Teams will represent the USA at the 2020 International King’s Cup™.
The King’s Cup™ is played in remembrance of golf’s greatest ambassador – Mr. Arnold Palmer
Who can enter the USGC King’s Cup National Qualifier?
2-person Teams that have qualified through a Local Qualifier. There will be over 100 Local Qualifiers around the country in 2018.

How do you sign up for the USGC King’s Cup National Qualifier™?
If you and your partner have qualified for the USGC King’s Cup National Qualifier, go to REGISTRATION on the USGC™ website. Choose USGC King’s Cup National Qualifier from the Schedule and sign up.
What is the format of the USGC King’s Cup National Qualifier?
The USGC King’s Cup National Qualifier is a three-day 54-hole tournament. Each round is a different format mirroring the 3 formats of the King’s Cup – best ball, alternate shot and singles.
Is scoring Gross or Net?
All scoring is Gross within each flight at the USGC King’s Cup National Qualifier.
What tees are used?
The Open division will play @ 6,400-6,500 yards. The Senior division will play @ 6,000-6,200 yards.
Women will play from tees approximating where their handicap index was established.
Team entry fee for the 2019 USGC King’s Cup National Qualifier is to be announced.
Qualified Teams may enter after April 1.
Flights will vary in size based on how many Teams qualified and entered.
In addition to the 3-day tournament, each player and a guest are invited to the Tito’s Handmade Vodka opening pairings party and will receive a gift bag courtesy of Tito’s Handmade Vodka.
Is there a prize fund?
Yes, a portion of each entry goes into a prize fund to be distributed based on finishing position starting with 2nd place in each flight. Prizes will conform to the USGA® Rules of Amateur Status.
What do the Champions in each flight get for winning? The winning Teams in each flight will comprise Team USA 2020 and represent the United States in the 2020 King’s Cup honoring golf’s greatest ambassador - Arnold Palmer,
